About the Course

New and returning students are welcome to join as young scientists will continue their studies of Planet Earth with Wild and Extreme Weather, Oceanography, and what changes are currently happening on earth. We will work together to discover topics by completing hands-on labs and discussion. We will find out what scientists are studying and how they’ve built upon previous scientists' work.

Earth and Space Science topics will be presented and discussed in class with hands-on activities to have a more in depth understanding of the topics.
Extreme weather, Volcanoes, Space, and Dirt are just a few of the topics.
Some of the experiments are even edible like the underground aquifer!

Activities:
Students will take notes of key ideas and discuss the topics.
Lab activities will be conducted to further study topics.
Students will review vocabulary and topics in creative ways to help them remember the key topics.

Communication: via Google classroom each week
Please provide a student and parent email.

Supplies: Lab supplies, Notecards, writing pens, pencils,
and colored pencils provided.
* Prizes and snacks may be provided please alert Miss Nikki of any food allergies.
