About the Course

Wilderness survivors will be traveling along with Lewis and Clark to explore the West during the 1800’s. We will read several different books along our journey. We will continue to take notes of the information we learn each week. We will be doing hands-on activities to reinforce our studies. This course will explore literature, history, geography, nature, and science.

Each week students will follow along in their books as we read in class. They will learn wilderness and survival skills from the literature, class discussion and supplemental activities.
This course will dive into every subject!
All levels of reading and writing for grades 4th-6th welcome!

Students will be learning to take notes and discuss literature and topics from each chapter in class.
Their notes can be creative with drawings, keywords, or symbols. They will also add survival skills to their notes.

Communication: via Google classroom each week.
Please provide a student and parent email.

Supplies: Books, Notecards, writing pens, pencils, and colored pencils provided,
